An Evening Discussion Forum

September 8, 2011 — The Center for the
Defense of Civil Rights & Equality, a
non-profit organization committed to serving
Rhode Island’s
neediest communities, hosts its inaugural
public forum:
Connecting with Government Leaders: A
conversation about policy, politics and
communities.
Scheduled for
October 21, 2011
at 7:00 p.m. at the Providence Career and
Technical Academy Auditorium, the forum
brings together students, politicians,
policy makers, and dignitaries for a public
discussion about
Rhode Island’s
future. The evening’s conversation will
include learning and understanding the
impact of state policies on communities,
along with, students and the public having
the opportunity to participate in a question
and answer session with the distinguished
panel.
The inaugural event features an impressive
panel of dignitaries and politicians.
